Song Of Sahel SOS: Calling For Submissions
Song of Sahel SOS on Facebook-Public Event
By Plum Tree Books
Saturday, September 15, 2012 Across The World
Written By Niamh Clune PhD
There are: those who have; those who have not those who dream; those who do not those who consume world resources; those who have nothing those who complain about rain; those who die for rain
Children cannot eat words; blinded by starvation, they cannot see pictures. Yet, we are calling on artists, poets, writers and photographers to join us in a Song Of Sahel.
We hope to raise awareness, raise a contribution from the sales of the anthology and music, or through direct donation. The deadline for submissions is 15th August. The event will be hosted on 15th September on FaceBook. More details to follow.

this is very, very noble! i will check out the site and see if i have the blessing of God to contribute some thing.
Reblogged this on Sharmishtha Basu's poetries.
Thank You, Jennifer for posting this to your site. It is much appreciated. I hope we will receive many more submissions. It should be a wonderful event.
you are more then welcomed. i even did a bit more tweeking. the bold print was too extreme so i went into the editing world and searched out what was causing that and corrected it. the look is so much better, i think. i, also, hope for more submission for this wonderful event for such a great cause. wishing for great results on helping the people of the Sahel.
You are so kind. I hope everyone will reblog this post so that it is effective and goes viral across the world.
you like this presentation? am i understanding you correctly? you want them to use what i set up here from my site to use on all of the bloggers’ sites? it does all refer back to all of your sites. “on the plum tree” and “plum tree books” and i think the “facebook page for the event.” but let me check that before i commit to the accuracy of my statement. i checked the HTML and now the whole post refers to all of the above sites just by clicking on all the highlighted sections that are underlined in either purple or blue. i could send the HTML version with the photograph modifications. each blogger would have to set up the captions with each photograph by following exactly what i did but on their own blog address by downloading photographs from their own computers. if they are wordpress they would need to alter just the numbers on the width and height of the photos as i have them set. it’s just a matter of following my HTML code. it’s not too diffiult if you just follow what i did with the exception of the blog address in the code would be each individuals blog address. do you follow what i am saying? i will be chatting with DiAnne later on Tuesday about this, also.
Brava!
one last instruction would be to make sure the photographs are on aligncenter and also they write the caption on my HTML in the caption box where they will be downloading the photographs. if they have downloaded photographs for their own blogs, they should know what i am talking about. they would do all this before they would click on insert in post for the photograph. the width and hieght they would change after downloading photograph to post, that they cannot do before then. thank you for the brava. avec de nombreux merci mon ami magique, mystique et spirituelle.
Fantastic. Lovely stuff.
thank you claudio. welcome to my blog. jennifer
