Alice-I’ve Changed So Many Times
You Need People
By Jennifer Kiley
You need people
To know
The writer you are
Creative talents you have
Poems go to deeper depths
Each time you write one
Hear the messages
Contained within
Reassures future times
What you write
Is reread
Multiple times
Messages plunge deeper
With each pass
Your amazing words
Amaze us
How much you are there
When one feels all alone
Too alone
And the darkness
Has you trapped
Someone shows you a light
That you felt had been vanquished
By the darker forces
There is some hope after all
That you have to hold onto
When you are at your lowest
It is the most difficult time
To those who are there
Offering a hand
An angel’s voice
To soothe your pain
The pain so severe
You don’t think it possible
But understand
It happens
To ever heal
From darkness
Or to release it
Always said
That if you can keep
Yourself writing
No matter what it is
That you record
The darkness
It will
Keep at bay
Like a cross
Sunlight or garlic
To a vampire
You don’t invite it in
No matter how powerful
You feel it is
Or what kind of manipulation
When it tries
Its over powering force
You keep searching
For the light
When you feel
That it will not come
You’re always proven wrong
When the light does arrive
The rescuer is strong

Lady of Dragon Rose-Spirit Enchantment
Friends can help each other. A true friend is someone who lets you have total freedom to be yourself – and especially to feel. Or, not feel. Whatever you happen to be feeling at the moment is fine with them. That’s what real love amounts to – letting a person be what he really is. ~ Jim Morrison ~
“Come out of the dark,” said the heart to the flower, “So that all can see your beauty, A colour such as yours must be seen, experienced, or a heart can die for lack of grace bestowed.”
My colour shines through the love I feel that no one will steal from me. I give freely when I find the doorway that opens up to trust. The gifts I’ve been loaned, I appreciate and honour with as much truth as I am able to reveal. J.K.
