Reblogged from MacKENZIE's Dragonsnest:
In the New World the second week in October is a complicated time for holidays. In the United States, many people celebrate Columbus Day. It is more of a bank holiday and (yet another) excuse for sales, but it's on the calendar, nonetheless. This understandably rubs millions of indigenous New World peoples (and other species), north and south, the wrong way.
Here at MotD we try to set politics aside - when we can. This is a time to celebrate New World Dragons, after all. In the past we have largely focused on the Feathered Dragons of the New World tropics and rain forests, the brilliant, rainbow gems of the Dragon world." This is a very imaginative and illustrated quite well with wonderful depictions of marvelous examples of New World Frost Dragons. Visit the site of "MacKenzie's Dragons Nest" to take part in the Month of the Dragon. Don't forget while you are there to make a Comment in order to enter the contest to take a chance in winning a autographed copy of Shawn MacKenzie's new book, soon to be released: "Dragons for Beginners" or her book "Dragon Keeper's Handbook." Enjoy your visit and remember that there will be posts throughout the Month of Dragons with all sorts magical and mystical information shared with illustrations included. Enjoy!!!
