You have that roar inside you. It builds up then finds release. It follows you everywhere like a ghost haunting your spirit. You must do it. You wake up to it. You can’t wait to hit whatever you use to write. Where ever you are you must use your power to create. To just do it. Sleep becomes an interference. Your body forces you into Morpheus’s arms while holding the figurative pen in hand. That is how much it is necessary for you to do it. Nothing disturbs that concentration and if it dares to, well, don’t be that person or noise or whatever it is which tries to jam the flow. The Colours held you up and within their power you wrote what was an absolute necessity. Now it seems a perfect symmetry that you reciprocate and live now within this time to write their story. You must do it. It is a calling. Stopping would stop you from living. Who can survive their life without their heart and soul. Without it you would feel a slow death as you disintegrated into dust. That is when the forces of the wind close in to scatter your particles of dust to all edges of the universe. To have it and deny it by turning away is a powerful rejection. You have it and do not reject it. We listen to the muse and answer her call. She is forceful and persistent and insistent that we just do it. Jk ps. You are in the flow Niamh. The Colours are with you. As they say in Star Wars: “May the Force Be With You.” (I just couldn’t resist). As Yoda might say it: “The Force May With You Be.”

I love this quote. I saw it somewhere a while ago, and I agree with it so completely. The house could burn down around me, and I wouldn’t notice it if I was in the middle of teasing a sentence into the shape I want it to be. I just can’t stop. I suffer withdrawal symptoms, like an inner calling to be somewhere else. I used to retreat into the Colours. They wrote my story. Now I must write theirs.
